FAMELLUN was founded in 1995 when it was registered as FAMELLUN NIGERIA LIMITED in Lagos, Nigeria.

Famellun was an electro-mechanical company, which specialized in repair and services of industrial equipment such as generators, electric motors, compressors, central air conditioners, cold room and pneumatic systems.

The company owned a foundry and machine shop where casting and machining of  mechanical equipment parts were performed. These parts included connecting rods, pistons and rocker covers of industrial power generator and pneumatic compressors.

For over a decade, Famellun thrived in the West African market serving a clientale ranging from UAC Foods, Mr Biggs, First Bank of Nigeria, National Orthopedic Hospital and Lagos University Teaching Hospital

There was a change of priority in 2008 when the company decided to suspend operations due to the founder/CEO’s need to relocate to USA to expand his skill and knowledge base in the engineering sector. This was essential for Famellun’s vision to compete with the most modern manufacturing demands in the international market.

Vision
The vision of Famellun is to establish an automotive company in Nigeria and eventually embark upon generation of electrical energy. The automobile production will focus on farming vehicles and passenger cars. The company has already designed a farm dump bed and a five passenger mini truck equipped with a farm trailer coupler.
